Meet our speaker - Dorota Żurkowska-Bytner
Member of the Management Board, Discovery & TVN in Poland, responsible for Eurosport, Domestic and International Distribution of the combined offer, Commercial Development as well as integrated market research; Prior to joining the management team of the merged organizations, Dorota held the position of Country Manager of Discovery in Poland. She was responsible for the dynamic development of Discovery on the Polish market based on innovative products, strategic partnerships and the strength of brands and programs present in the Discovery portfolio. Dorota has joined to the Discovery in 2000, when together with Kasia Kieli founded the first office of the broadcaster in Poland. In previous years, she held key positions in international Discovery structures. As vice president of advertising sales development, she was responsible for the Discovery advertising strategy in all markets of the then CEEMEA region (Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa). She was responsible for the overall management, development and implementation of advertising time strategy, focusing primarily on the Middle East, South Africa, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Romania and Poland. Prior to joining Discovery, she worked in At Media, UPC and The Communication Bridge. She graduated from the University of Warsaw and the Private School of Commerce and The First Business College.
