Meet our speaker - Izabela Olszewska
Member of the Management Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange
A graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Statistics at the Warsaw School of Economics and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw.
She completed post-graduate MBA studies at the University of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw. She was a student of the International Institute for Securities Market Development course organized by the US Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington. She has been involved in the capital market since 1992, initially as an analyst at the Capital Operations Center of Bank Handlowy, and since 1999 as an employee of the Stock Exchange. At the WSE, she held various managerial positions in the area of business development and sales, cooperated with investors and entrepreneurs, both domestic and foreign, from various sectors of the economy, and was responsible for expanding the product offer of the regulated market and alternative markets. She held the position of Managing Director for Development. Since July 2019, she has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Towarowa Giełda Energii. From October 2015 to June 2019, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Bondspot. Until June 2018, she was a member of the Board of Directors of the London-based Aquis Exchange, acting as a Non-Executive Director. For many years he has been cooperating with the National Depository for Securities as a member of the Advisory Team.
